Workshops
Workshops
Three-day training workshops. These workshops cover the fundamentals of conservation ethics. Participants also develop skills by working in small groups on challenges in conservation ethics that are of their interest. Workshops are tailored to the audience - students, professionals, or educators. University credit is possible. For details, click here.
Half-day training workshops. These workshops are a condensation of the three-day workshop. Participants gain an understanding of the basic principles of conservation ethics. Compared to the three-day workshop, less time is devoted to developing skills.
Three-day working group meetings. These workshops are focussed on a specific challenge in conservation ethics, as identified by the working group. Participants may include experts on the issue and interested stakeholders. The outcome of these working groups is a deeper understanding of the ethical justification for various solutions to the challenge of concern, an increased basis for consensus among stakeholders, and a resource for decision makers.
